Iron, sulfur, and manganese are the troublemakers behind rust stains, rotten-egg odour, and inky deposits.
Our Ziron-K AIO system eliminates all three in one step. It injects air to oxidize dissolved contaminants, then Katalox media traps the particles down to ~5 microns. Automatic backwash cleans the media, so you’re not feeding chemicals or fiddling with settings.
Because AIO relies on vigorous backwash, it does need a capable pump—about 6.5 GPM or better. If your well won’t support that, we’ll design a different solution that protects performance and media life. Pair Ziron-K with a softener (for hardness), a carbon stage (taste/odor), and VIQUA UV (disinfection) for a whole-home reset.

Iron and sulfur don’t just look and smell bad—they ruin fixtures, laundry, and water heaters while turning every shower into a chemistry lesson.
Add manganese and you get stubborn dark staining that a softener alone can’t fix. The Ziron-K AIO is our go-to for this trio.
What it does:
AIO (air-injection oxidation) mixes air with your raw water to oxidize dissolved iron and sulfur. The Katalox media then filters the oxidized particles and manganese down to ~5 microns.
An automatic backwash cycle resets the media so performance stays high without chemical feed pumps or daily dosing.
Sizing matters:
AIO filters must backwash with authority. We verify that your well and pressure system can deliver ~6.5 GPM or better. If not, we’ll spec an alternative that still solves the problem without starving the media.
Build the stack:
Hardness:
Taste & Odor:
5-micron sediment + carbon polishing
Disinfection:
VIQUA UV for bacteria/virus protection

No more ruining fixtures, laundry, and water heaters.
Install & support:
We install cleanly, program your cycles, and check backwash rates. With annual service and periodic media care, Ziron-K delivers clear, odor-free water for years.
